RDX to attend Gartner Outsourcing & Strategic Partnerships Summit

One such conference is the annual Gartner Outsourcing & Strategic Partnership Summit, which presents influential people and organizations in the business and technology sector with an unmatched opportunity to get expert advice from peers and Gartner analysts on their current strategies, as well as learn more about other aspects of the dynamic field in which they work.
RDX is among the sponsors for this year's event, held from September 23 through September 25 in Orlando, Fla. We interviewed one of the company's leaders, Rob Brown, to discuss what he's looking forward to about being involved with the summit and how he feels the experience will make RDX an even better service provider for its clients.
1. Tell us a little about who you are and what brings you to the Gartner Outsourcing & Strategic Partnership Summit?
My name is Rob Brown, and I am the vice president of sales for RDX. RDX is the largest outsourcer of Remote Infrastructure Management services in the country focusing on Database Management, Operating System Management and Oracle EBS outsourcing. RDX has over 400 clients worldwide, and it is important to partner with Gartner, who is the leader in IT Market Research.
2. Who are you most excited to see speak?
I cannot just pick one. They will have a ton [of] breakout sessions, so it will be great to see them all if I have time.
3. What led to your decision to become a sponsor at the Outsourcing Summit?
RDX feels it is important to partner with Gartner because they attract some the most educated sourcing professionals in the industry.
4. Why do you feel attending conferences like these are important for people in your industry?
It really gives them a good education about what services are offered in the IT marketplace.
5. Are you going to take any time to explore Orlando while you are there? If so, what is on your list?
You always make time to explore Orlando. With the great attractions, golf and restaurants, it is hard to identify one activity, but golf will be high on my list!
