Querying Semistructured Data in Azure Data Lake with USQL

Querying Semistructured Data in Azure Data Lake

RDX Business Intelligence Developer, Russel Loki, will be presenting Querying Semistructured Data in Azure Data Lake with USQL during a PASS Cloud Virtual Group session at 1 PM ET on May 9, 2019.

Microsoft Azure Data Lake is a cloud storage and analytical service that can house a variety of data types. Users are able to query semi-structured data in it using an ANSI SQL language called U-SQL. During this session, Russel will discuss the similarities and differences between U-SQL and T-SQL. He will then demonstrate its use by building a query against 21 GB of CSV files to show attendees how to better identify the quality of their data and determine whether or not to invest in a full data warehouse build.
