During this session, Peter will define Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) before moving on to a brief discussion regarding cloud objections and misconceptions. The closing discussion will focus on data centric services in AWS and Azure.
Robert Verell-Right-Size Your Data Files, 10:30-11:30 AM, Room 900
In his session, Robert will discuss why having multiple files for databases and filegroups is important. He'll also dive into some scripts and tools that will help users right-size their databases for performance considerations.
