Sr. SQL Server expert, Jim Donahoe, will be presenting Getting Started with SQL Azure Database: What You Need to Know during Washington DC's SQL Server User Group Meeting on Thursday, February 8. During his presentation, Jim will discuss the steps DBAs need to get their first Azure SQL Database instance set up. He'll also cover common challenges such as firewall settings and resource logs in addition to some advanced features. Attendees will walk away knowing if Azure SQL DB is the right choice for their needs.
